version 2.10.0: Updated iOS UI and Refunds in Reports

πŸ†• New Features

  • Smarter reports with net-based totals (iOS & Web) Reports now classify transactions as inflows or outflows based on their net effect. For example if you spend $100 on Fun Money and then get a refund for $25 in Fun Money, your Report will show $75 spent in Fun Money, instead of $100 Outflow and $25 Inflow.

  • Math in the amount field (Web) Need to split a bill or add things up? You can now type expressions like 120 / 3 or 45.50 + 12 directly in the transaction amount field.

  • Multi-select transactions (Web) Select multiple transactions and use the new bulk actions toolbar to categorize, delete, or edit them all at once. You can also right-click any transaction for a quick context menu.

  • Activity popover on the budget page (Web) Click on the activity column for any category to see a popover with all the transactions that make up that number.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a visual jitter when dragging the side drawer on iOS

  • Recurring transaction reminders now work correctly even if you have daily reminders turned off

✨ Improvements

I've been updating the iOS app to use native list sections across the board. Categories, merchants, accounts, budget, and transaction views all feel more polished and consistent now. Transaction sheets also support swipe actions for quicker editing. (iOS)
