Yea I’m not really sure how things work on the backend, but I have used certain budgeting apps that transactions hit the app almost immediately and I can pull-down on the screen to refresh the bank connection when need be. They claimed they use plaid as well. With Kualia it usually takes a few days for me to see my new transactions.
This is actually a limitation with the connection between your bank and Plaid (the service used to connect your accounts). Its up to your bank to tell Plaid when it has new transactions, then its up to Plaid to tell us (Kualia) about those transactions. Bank -> Plaid -> Kualia. There is a service that Plaid offers for requesting updates from your bank, but they're I believe ~$1/request. And this is typically used in one-off situations. As of now, there's no good way to force a refresh here. Know that the bank is what is responsible for how quickly transactions are pushed to Kualia. For example, I have SoFi, Amex, and Chase banks, and I get new transactions within an hour of them hitting my bank.
I'll close this in the meantime since I'm confident there's nothing I can do here. If you disagree, just note it here. Happy to learn more 🤝 Thanks for the request!
