Redesign feedback

Hi! The redesign was huge. I have a few comments on things that are making my user experience worse than before: 1. There used to be an “Available” section in the budget, in addition to All/Underfunded/Overfunded, etc. It was very helpful for tracking only the amounts currently assigned. 2. I don’t see the value in having the calendar with planned transactions as the first thing in the section. The calendar visualization is too big, and you have to scroll down to check your latest transactions. 3. Overall, everything has somehow become bigger, which means there’s less information visible on the screen, so you have to scroll more, including in the Reports and Budget sections.

Done! Most, if not all, of this feedback has been implemented. If you notice I missed something, please let me know!

Thank you for such a quick response to the feedback. The app has definitely become more convenient! The only thing that’s currently a bit inconvenient is that the sorting in Planned Transactions doesn’t start with the nearest payments. So if you have recurring yearly payments, you now see transactions scheduled as far ahead as 2027 at the top. And one of my previous wishes is still relevant, although it’s not as critical and might just be a matter of personal preference — compared to the pre-redesign version, everything in the interface has become larger. It might be because I have a smaller screen (iPhone 14), but in the Accounts and Reports sections, the graphs take up most of the space at the top. Maybe this could be solved with an option to reduce the interface scale in the settings. In any case, thank you for listening to the feedback!

1) I liked the transactions to be assigned the first thing I see on the transactions page, not a calendar 2) when I choose the category to assign a transaction to, I liked being able to see the “available “ amount in that category. It does not show that anymore 3) Is the home screen needed? I liked when the first thing I saw was the budget

Agree regarding the home page. I don’t find it valuable at all.

How do you two feel about the menu system in general? Now having to use two clicks (or a drag and swipe) to get to a different page? Any improvements I can make there? Since there are more than 4 pages, it can't all fit in the tabs. Open to suggestions!

Menu button is fine. Switching tabs was also okay, and I think it’s just a matter of habit. Also, previously in Budget, there was a “left to target” for each category. I think it was more helpful than having one big progress bar at the top. Sometimes you want to focus on a specific target, and now you have to drill down into the category to do that, which feels like an unnecessary extra step.

Also, the previous widgets were so good, and now they don’t work 😩😩😩 I really liked that it was possible to choose specific accounts and specific categories for daily expenses to display on the widgets. Now it only shows net worth, and for the daily budget, you can choose only ONE category.
