Getting started on this now. Here's what I was thinking. Taking some cues from YNAB. You'll be able to mark the account as closed, and closed accounts will show up at the bottom of your Accounts list in a separate tab. Closing an account will have no permanent impact to the account or your budget. It will only hide the account from certain views, like the Accounts tab and when choosing an account for a transaction.
Adding this to my list. This one seems the easiest to implement so I'll tackle it first. Will keep you posted 👊
